Welcome to the East Kent Dance Academy (EKDA) which has

been established since 1974.

Over the years we have trained many dancers who have won top competitions and championships all over the country. Many of them have gone on to run successful dancing schools and have taken their professional qualifications with the EKDA.

The styles of dance we teach are Ballroom, Latin American and Freestyle (including Street and Rock and Roll). We take students from the age of five years to senior, starting at beginner level through to championship standard.

All our teachers have teaching qualifications with the International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA). We also have student teachers training and helping in the school. All teachers have been police checked with the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).

The school is also a member of the Association of Dance/Freestyle Professionals (ADFP)  and Kent Youth Clubs.
